This group is meant to serve as an informal support network for all those currently training for an ironman triathlon or other Iron-distance event. Training for an Ironman (or most any endurance event) is a deeply personal and solitary endeavor. Most of us train on our own schedule, and free time is a luxury that not many of us have. Because of this, this group will not host too many formal meetups, but will serve as a community where individuals can share advice, experiences, and help one anoth …
Inspired by Tony of ZenHiking. We are starting a new Washington DC meetup that combines several spiritual disciplines such as Meditation, Yoga, TUMMO Reiki, Chi Gong(Qigong) and Tai Chi with all other fun outdoor activities like Hiking, Cycling, Canoeing, Wine Tasting, Camping, Golf and Tennis. Why? The answer is simple. Meditation is best combined with outdoor activities. What could be more fun and more spiritual than doing meditation before or after a day of exciting activities such as Yoga, T …
"The Law of Attraction" has been part of the mainstream discussion for many years now. It is the topic of books, movies, television, the Internet. Is it another fad, just another hot topic? No. The Universal Law of Attraction is just that ~ a Universal law, true yesterday, true today, true tomorrow. And it is an invaluable and transformative tool for self-awareness, self-realization and self-actualization. This Meetup group is a community of deliberate, committed Seekers who desire deep, person …
