Most women dislike, even hate their periods but on my journey in understanding my cycle I discovered that society and media creates a stigma about something that should be natural and empowering to women. Being on the Board of the Red Web Foundation (http://www.theredweb.org/#) in California, I have discovered and read and seen many great books, video and art regarding menstruation. I believe that if most women understood and learn to accept their periods, body and mind perceptions would change …

I attended the 2010 Cycle World, International Motorcycle Show in Rosemont. While I was there, I noticed there was an area called Women's Center. It was a show feature designed specifically for women riders. I thought, "finally, a place where I can get some answers!" The expert female motorcyclists from Women's Motorcycling Foundation (WMF) were very knowledgeable. I tried on riding gear that actually fit! I asked so many questions regarding riding gear, size and fit of various motorcycles, moto …

This group will be focused on discussing and learning about UX Strategies. This group is distinct in the sense that it will discuss bigger picture UX involvement as opposed to day to day UX activities that may be project related. Since UX is starting to take more influential roles and earlier in the development life cycle, I think it would be valuable to discuss different strategic outlooks and experiences.
