We are a group of committed bicycle enthusiasts that love to ride hard and ride fast for awesome exercise, workouts and fun! When I first started riding three years ago, I wished there was a beginner ride to help me learn how to cycle and prepare for the MS ride – I really wanted to be a part of it but all the camps were riding too far and too fast. So I started a camp to help beginners learn and feel comfortable riding, going long distances, and riding in a group. This camp is different because we don’t leave anyone behind. If needed, we break into two groups so someone is always with the slower riders. We also regro …

Camp Einstein was founded in 2011 as a zMotion training camp for beginner and intermediate riders in the Plantation area. The camp is centered around the idea of riding for fun rather than competition and no rider is dropped during group rides. New riders can learn basic riding skills and group etiquette while intermediate riders can maintain and sharpen their skills while having a good time. Camp Einstein is named as such because we are the smartest camp that zMotion has!!! Well, that and we ma …

Camp Latte is an old-time favorite of many zMotion members with a social vibe and strong training regimen. The team leaves from Starbucks (Starbucks at Shoppes at Boca Center; 5250 Towne Center Circle in Boca Raton) and starts by going North to Spanish River, then East to A1A, North to Lake Worth, and then returns. The ride is just over 40 miles round trip. The speed is usually an even pace line of 18-22 mph and the team sports about a dozen regulars each week.
Camp Cove riders leave from Deerfield Beach (The Cove/Hillsborough, 1 block west of A1A, 1754 SE 3rd Ct) heading either north or south on A1A. Weekly rides are usually 35-60 miles and consist of 15-20 regulars with speeds of 18-22 mph with flexibility of faster and slower pace lines and distance depending on training schedule and collective group skill. Camp Cove offers a nice pace line, with consistent speed and conversation throughout the rides. If you are looking for a nice group of people th …

I started this group to find some fun people to do some fun things with in my area, mostly on weekdays during the day. Most of our activities will involve moderate exercise - we're going to start with walking, and all activity levels will be welcomed and catered for with walks to appeal to all. We'll add new activities as the group grows. If you live in the Pompano Beach/Lighthouse Point areas, our activities will be most convenient for you but others are very welcome too.
